OUR HOME, OUR STORIES
Simply uttering the words “Rural Australia” instantly evokes sounds, smells and colours that are indelibly etched into our collective minds. The bond we have for our home is often conflicted between the safety and comfort we feel in such beauty and the heartbreak and terror that can be realised when her full force is unleashed upon us.
TCDA’s dancers and choreographers draw inspiration from the quintessence of Australian rural life, exploring the way that our Community consolidates to offset our physical isolation, ingterpreting our landscape through movement and celebrating our stories.
Dances from TCDA’s Tamworth and Quirindi studios will showcase their talents in classical ballet, jass, hip hop, lyrical, tap, acro and musical theatre, bringing the stories of our home to life.
