Tickets are on sale now for Australia's biggest night of equine entertainment, excellence and education at Tamworth’s Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) this October.
Hosted by Network 7’s Sammie O’Brien (Queensland Weekender), The Night of the Horse is a spectacular arena event filled with thrilling and world-first stunts, fireworks, freestyle dressage, wagon wheels, horse play plus comedy, interactive demonstrations, Cowboy Dance and Kiss Cams, prizes and giveaways.
The Night of the Horse is directed by Dave Manchon, the man behind the popular Rooftop Express Show, and has been designed specifically for this one-off performance in Tamworth.
“The Night of the Horse show will be a great night of family fun,” said Mr Manchon. “Whether you’re familiar with shows like this or this will be your first experience, we’ll be pulling out all stops to give our Tamworth audience a night they won’t forget!”
The show features 45 horses plus a menagerie of bulls, brahmans, donkeys and dogs. Joining them will be an all-star line-up of trainers including Tamworth’s own Rob Leach (2018 Warwick Stallion Draft Winner) and Grant Quigley (multiple aged event Cutting Champion), plus Brett Parbery (12-time Australian Dressage Champion and World Equestrian Games rider), Warren Backhouse (one of Australia’s most successful reining trainers), and Scotty Finlayson (liberty and trick horse trainer).
“We have access to some of the best horsemen and women in Australia here in Tamworth and we’re really excited to have some of them as part of the show,” said Mr Manchon.
“We wanted to show off the variety and adrenaline of a fast-paced Wild West Show, whilst highlighting the importance of horsemanship, education and training as part of this performance. We’ll be keeping our audience on the edge of their seats, that’s for sure!”
A must-see event, The Night of the Horse will be in Tamworth on Saturday, 5 October. For more information and to buy tickets, visit www.entertainmentvenues.com.au/the-night-of-the-horse or call 02 6767 5200.
