This weekend, the Nundle Country Picnic committee has made the decision that given current advice regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), it is socially responsible to cancel the upcoming event to be held on Sunday 22 March, 2020.
They are looking to host the event later this year and apologise for any disappointment.

Delicious food, live local music, and new season winter fashion will again be on offer at the annual Nundle Country Picnic on Sunday 22 March, 2020. It kicks off at 12 noon and will conclude at 3pm.
The event is a fixture on the bursting Nundle events calendar, and invites visitors to spend an idyllic Sunday afternoon relaxing and exploring the grounds of the Nundle Woollen Mill.
Local businesses Nundle Woollen Mill and clothing boutique Sacs on Jenkins will take the opportunity to show off their new winter fashions in the popular fashion parade featuring local models.
Owner of the Nundle Woollen Mill, Kylie Bradford says, “We have a diverse customer base and I’m always looking for value for money and points of difference. I’ll often buy pieces with wow factor specifically for our annual fashion parade, which is real fashion on real women,” she says.
In addition, there will be entertainment for the kids at this family-friendly event with face painting and a jumping castle. Nundle singer/songwriter Jeff Gibson will also entertain the crowds throughout the afternoon with popular covers and his own brand of rootsy folk, including new single Hole in My Heart.
For those with two-course lunch tickets, Pip Joy and Brett Gorman from Jenkins Street Guesthouse will serve up a delectable selection of picnic treats sourced locally. These tickets cost just $39.50 for adults and $10 for children under 12 years (including full event access). Picnic boxes will include Lasagna or Vegetable Moussaka, served with Chinese Cabbage Slaw with Fennel, Pecorino and Walnut Oil, and Dutch Carrot and Burghul Salad, followed by Rhubarb and Raspberry Brownie served with Peel Valley Cream.
Lunch ticket bookings are to be made by 5pm on Friday 20 March via; www.stickytickets.com.au/867l2/2020_nundle_country_picnic.aspx
General admission to enjoy the afternoon without lunch is available for $5 for adults, $3 for children or $15 for a family ticket. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own shade and chair for an enjoyable afternoon out.
