For the first time, Tamworth Regional Botanic Gardens is on the menu for the Tamworth Taste festival menu with High Tea in the Gardens on Tuesday 10 April, 2018.
Tamworth Regional Council Manager Events, Barry Harley, said the picturesque gardens (at the top of Tamworth’s Piper Street) are the ideal spot for the event.
“The botanic gardens provide a wonderful setting for this special inaugural event,” he said. “This is a great food experience for anyone looking for an excuse for a mid-week catch up with friends.”
Tables will be set up with stylish China on the grassed area near the main entrance of the botanic gardens featuring a selection of savoury and sweet foods prepared by Tamworth’s Le Pruneau plus tea and coffee.
The event will start at 1pm and continue until about 2.30pm. Cost is $32 per person or $240 for a table of eight.
