The Kootingal Oval will be bursting at the seams between 9am and 2pm this Father’s Day at the second annual Kootingal Country Fair.
The inaugural event attracted huge crowds last September, and the organising committee are aiming for an even bigger and better 2019 event with new attraction The Pitts Family Circus, sure to be an entertainment highlight. A real life family and real life circus, the family have travelled the world making people laugh, smile and gasp since 2002.
Families can also explore the Woolomin Petting Zoo and enjoy garden games, putt-putt golf, jumping castles and face painting. International and local foods will be available for purchase from new and returning stalls.
For the dads and grandfathers, the Kootingal Motor Club will again have classic cars on display.
“The Fair Committee is thrilled by the number of stallholders attracted to this year’s event, and we’re excited to have so much fantastic entertainment on offer for our visitors,” said Kerrie Betts, Kootingal Country Fair Committee.
The Fair Committee’s volunteers support the Kootingal Recreation Reserve Committee which manages the Kootingal Oval, used by a large number of local sporting and recreational clubs. The Fair aims to raise funds for improvements to the Kootingal Oval as well as to give locals, clubs and schools a fundraising opportunity.
