The Workshop Kitchen at The Quality Hotel Powerhouse, 248 Armidale Road, Tamworth
A cooking and drawing class for 8-12 year olds!
Based on foods from Roald Dahl’s novels The BFG and Matilda, create your own delicious Frobscottle and Snozcumbers for lunch, followed by a dessert of mini Brue Bogtrotter’s Chocolate Cakes! This workshop will be held in the Gallery’s kitchen and the Esther Halliday Studio as part of Taste Tamworth Festival 2017. During this workshop you will make your own recipe book to take home, complete with Quentin Blake inspired illustrations.

Bookings essential, maximum 10 participants per class
Carers of participants are responsible for checking the ingredients list upon enrolling to ensure that their child is able to partake in these workshops and consume the food they create. Due to time constraints, variations to the set recipes and ingredients are not available.
Participants must wear closed in shoes and bring a cooking apron to wear when preparing food
Parents/carers must fill in agreeing to the ingredients etc. as to cover any food allergies and intoler. ancesThere will be no refunds if students are unable to attend on the day and there will be no waiting list once the places are sold out.
