Back by popular demand, come and celebrate our region’s finest produce in the leafy grounds of Tamworth’s ANZAC Park at The Long Lunch 2018 - a sumptuous three-course meal accompanied by a grazing table and served by the region’s leading chefs from midday. 

In 2018, the Long Lunch three-course menu and grazing table will be prepared by Corey's CateringCH on Peel and Swan Fine Foods, with event partner Jack's Creek beef. Other suppliers include Sonny's Bakery, Belwood Grove and Tamworth Growers' Market. The bar will be curated by The Welder's Dog, and tea and coffee will be served by D'lish on Wheels

The Long Lunch is a signature event of the 2018 Taste Tamworth Festival calendar and one not to be missed, drawing visitors from across Australia to share in an afternoon that celebrates the region’s bounty of fresh country produce.

Resembling a relaxed country wedding, over 150 visitors are seated ready for an afternoon of spectacular local food, wine and live music from local talent Marc Jackson, while in the busy marquee kitchen, some of the best local chefs work with their teams methodically plating-up. And it’s not just the food that’s local – diners sip on the region’s cool-climate wines and country beers – all grown and produced in Tamworth’s backyard. 

The whole afternoon oozes relaxation – diners stepping out of their seats only to stretch their legs and visit friends seated further down the table or to enjoy the sunshine filtering through the park.

Coconut, ginger and lemongrass poached chicken with a New England herb salad finished with palm sugar and soy dressing (GF/LF)

Main by Corey's Catering
Jack's Creek rib eye with roasted chats, broccolini and jus

Dessert by Swan Fine Food
Pink grapefruit and elderflower tartlet made from locally sourced produced with a toasted meringue and rosemary honey

Grazing Table
A collaboration of regional produce sourced locally through Tamworth Growers' Market and more!
