With exhibits of beautifully restored antique tractors, cars, trucks, motor bikes and stationary engines, plus some exciting events for children, this year's Dungowan Village Fair promises to be one for all the family.
The Village Fair will be held at the Dungowan Recreation Grounds on Saturday October 19 and concludes, Sunday 20 at midday. There will a Tractor Trek held on Friday October 18.
The tractor trek starts at the Recreation Grounds and proceeds to Nundle for a lunch break, then returns via the scenic route to the Dungowan grounds.
Participants and visitors from a wide area of NSW will be attending, with all 56 NSW Vintage Machinery Clubs invited to attend.
One novel event will be the‘Tractor Pull for Kids' using ride on lawn mowers converted to a pedal version. As the tractor is pedalled forward, the weight on the carriage behind moves forward, increasing the effort required.

Other children’s events will include egg carton races, a paper and wood plane gliding competition, plus an animal nursery.
Visitors will also see how butter used to be made, by separating cream from fresh milk and churning the cream in a hand operated butter churn to make butter.
There will be sheep shearing demonstrations during the day, a variety of stalls, local produce available, and catering on site.
