Various Locations
Nundle, Gunnedah, Barraba, Werris Creek, Loomberah
Tamworth Region, NSW, Australia

Take the kids to the closest library in the Tamworth region for one of their awesome school holiday workshops, and keep them entertained this January!

Building & Gaming Workshop
Build your own game controller using Makey Makey, wiring and conductive play dough to play video games and try your hand at the skyscraper building challenge using construction straws to build a structure to the ceiling.

Junior Coding & Construction Workshop
Engage in an exciting range of early STEM challenges; construct a straw skyscraper or an illuminated magnetic shape castle, explore early coding concepts by programming Mr Code-a-pillar to travel safely through a garden maze. Will he eat the right number of leaves and fill his belly ready for the next challenge? It's in your hands to find out!
*Attendees must be aged between 5 - 8 years and bookings are essential.

Young Inventors Electronics Workshop
Experiment with the library's easy-to-assemble electronics including lights, buttons, counters, buzzers, motors, wheels and more. They quickly connect with little magnets so there is more time to experiment and have fun.
*Attendees must be aged 8+ and bookings are essential.
