City versus Country has long played a part in New South Wales Rugby League sporting history, and this tradition has now moved to NSW Wheelchair Rugby League. This is held annually between the two sides in regional NSW to showcase to wheelchair version of rugby league to communities outside of the larger cities.
After a successful event in both 2016 and 2017, this years 2018 City Country Wheelchair Rugby League Festival will return to the Australian Country Music Capital, Tamworth, on the 18-20th May.

In addition to the 2018 City Country Wheelchair Rugby League Festival, we are searching for expressions of interest from individuals and groups within the New England/Tamworth community who would like to play and/or help establish the sport in the region. NSW Wheelchair Rugby League would like to expand the sport throughout the state, but we need your help.
Wheelchair Rugby League is an inclusive sport that allows people with disabilities, injuries and illnesses, as well as able bodied people, to play a modified version of rugby league at all levels.
