Bloodwood Quartet concert
The Playhouse Hotel
123 Queen St
Barraba, NSW, Australia
Bloodwood Quartet is Laura Curotta (viola), Robert Jackson (cello), Daniel Lopez and Jason Tong (violins).
The quartet was formed in 2006 by four chamber music students of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. In the early days, they honed their skills under the guidance of outstanding local and visiting musicians including Borodin Quartet, Takacs Quartet, Flinders Quartet and Goldner Quartet.
Since then, Bloodwood Quartet has performed in festivals Australia-wide, as well as toured to China and South East Asia as Cultural Ambassadors to University of Sydney.
Bloodwood Quartet is committed to creating musical excellence and bringing performances to audiences in regional and remote Australia, and as part of that commitment they will be touring the North West region through April under the auspices of Arts North West on tour. They are playing with special guest cellist Eleanor Streatfeild on this tour.
Concert 6.30pm. Two course dinner available afterwards.
