Field trip

The next field trip on Saturday 29thJune is to several locations around Gunnedah, including Wondabah Road reserve, The Wallaby Traps and Mullibah Lagoon.

We expect to see a range of woodland, grassland and water birds.  Just a few of the species we hope to see include Malee Ringneck, Peregrine Falcon, Grey-crowned Babbler, possibly 3 different species of Fairy Wren and Glossy Ibis.

Tamworth Birdwatchers welcomes new members.  If you are interested, the field trip will be leaving at 9:00am, from the car park behind the Community Centre, in Darling Street.  Be there early so we can organize car-pooling.  Bring binoculars if you have them and come prepared with your morning tea, lunch and plenty of water.
